Did you know?

The first teacher at Jerangle was Thomas Hewitt. The school was half-time with Anembo when it started in 1892, then from 1894 to 1913 it was half-time with Celey’s Creek. It was provisional from 1916 to 1919 then half-time again with Anembo from 1919 to 1923 when it was finally declared a public school.  By Matt Tozer
